I am studying a degree in Economics in english at UAB. I am now in my second year and these two last years I have also worked in events as a hostess or as a bartender.
Experience in events:
As a hostess I have supported different kinds of events, including conventions and trade shows at Fira Gran Via such as VMware Explore, the HPE congress and the Seafood fair, as well as corporate events like Saltoki Sabadell and passenger welcome for the Ritz-Carlton cruise at the Port of Barcelona.
In hospitality I have worked as a waitress at the Hotel Acta Sant Just Desvern (4*), both at breakfast service and during private events, weddings and caterings in venues such as Castell Sant Marçal. I also have experience as a shop assistant in fashion and accessories, which has strengthened my sales and customer-service skills.
Alongside this, I have played basketball for many years and volunteer at a children’s centre with 3–5-year-olds, where communication, patience and a strong sense of responsibility are key.
