Maria Moreira WU SHU Institute

María Moreira is a certified Kung Fu instructor at the Instituto de Wu Shu in Barcelona, holding the ROPEC certification number 058046 and a 2nd Dan in Northern Shaolin. She also practices other styles such as Hung Gar, Tai Chi Chuan, Pa Kua Chang, and Xing-I Quan. In addition to her martial arts expertise, María is a qualified Chi Kung instructor and a licensed Shiatsu therapist. She has a passion for conscious movement and has trained in urban dances, tribal dance, and flow arts, specializing in performances with elements like fans and fire swords, blending dance with martial arts.
For an upcoming corporate event, we are pleased to offer a martial arts performance led by María Moreira, a distinguished instructor from the Instituto de Wu Shu. The Instituto de Wu Shu, founded in 1976 by Master Lam Chuem Ping, is a pioneering center in Spain for the dissemination and teaching of Chinese martial arts. Currently directed by Master Carlos Alberto Moreira, the institute is renowned for its rich tradition and excellence in martial arts education.

María's performance will showcase a captivating blend of traditional martial arts and dance, reflecting the high standards and cultural heritage of the Instituto de Wu Shu.María Moreira is a renowned martial artist and member of the Instituto de Wu Shu, a pioneering institution in the dissemination and teaching of Chinese martial arts in Spain since 1976. Founded by Master Lam Chuem Ping, the institute has been fundamental in organizing and promoting Kung Fu in the country. Currently, under the direction of Carlos Alberto Moreira, the institute offers a variety of performances that combine tradition and martial expertise.

Chinese Lion Dance: A cultural representation symbolizing good energy and protection, typically performed during celebrations such as Chinese New Year and special events.

Chinese Dragon Dance: Featuring large, colorful dragon heads and bodies, this dance is performed to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune, commonly seen during auspicious occasions.

Kung Fu and Tai Chi Exhibitions: Demonstrations that combine attack and defense movements with elegance and precision, performed with or without weapons.

Fire Shows: An innovative fusion of martial arts, dance, and fire juggling, creating a spectacular display of light and emotion.
