I have taken part in study stays in Ireland and Canada: one month in Greystones combining science and English classes, and ten months in Medicine Hat attending a local high school. This has given me real day-to-day practice in English and experience dealing with people from different backgrounds.
For several years I have helped younger students through tutoring and educational support activities, and I have joined a programme that introduces students to hospital work, observing how care is organised from research to direct medical assistance.
